Can a Good Prank Can Help Save the World? | Charlie Grosso, Exec. Director/Founder | No Bridge, No Problem: How Kids in Costa Rica Use Play to Make Change | Luis Daniel, Exec. Director

When hundreds of changemakers from dozens of countries converge on an all-inclusive resort to talk about systemic poverty, play and problem-solving are both on the agenda.

Join us as we travel to the Dominican Republic to meet Charlie Grosso and Luis Daniel Ramirez Alfonso, activists working, respectively, with youth in Syria and Costa Rica.

Charlie delivers education and life-skills training to kids in refugee and recovery camps, a hard situation made worse by this year’s catastrophic earthquake. Luis, our second guest in this double episode, works with aspiring entrepreneurs and those with an entrepreneurial approach to life.

You'll hear from them firsthand as we recorded live in the middle of a fun-filled poolside atmosphere in the DR!

Prepare to be taken on a journey as they share what motivates them to stay committed to work that’s rarely easy, and never done, and how they use play to ignite their spirit.

Listen in as we explore what it takes to create meaningful change on the global stage.

More about Charlie:

Executive | Social Entrepreneur | International Brand Specialist | Fearless Creator

I am a storyteller and a creator. For you, for me, for brands and for those who need their voices amplified. I am dedicated to doing meaningful work with great people and to saying yes. Instead of hyper-specialization, I chose a Renaissance approach to my life and work. Straight lines only lead to fixed conclusions. Innovation comes from the connecting of dots and the beauty of doing.

I’ve always been a storyteller. How I’ve been able to express that has ebbed and flowed over time, but picking out stories and working to tell them with the end goal of bettering the lives of others has remained a constant throughout my career. Being a storyteller wasn’t the initial intent, but it has been the through line of my career. It is the core of what I do and what I love. Today, that’s as the founder and executive director of Hello Future.
